1. Would your group have gone to war to declare independence from Britain? Yes, Britain was taxing us heavily and we wanted to be free of the taxes and laws of the British government. We would fight for our freedom.
2. What were major points that made your decision? Taxes on the imported goods were making things expensive so we wanted to be free from that. The laws of the British were harsh so we would try to make our own so we could live the lifestyle best suited for us in our new country.
3. Did all your group members agree with the decision? Yes, we want to rule ourselves instead of being ruled by a king who makes up bogus laws to make money for himself. We also want to make money for ourselves and live the American dream.
4. What are the alternatives to war? Treaties are a possible alternative to war because they have little to no casualties and create some peace between the countries involved. We didn't choose an alternative to war because we wanted to be independent and prove we could stand on our own.
