Would your group have gone to war to declare independence from Britain? Explain. Yes, because they were taxing us unfairly. We also had no say in our government and any rules that we followed. There were many rules that we were forced to oblige to that were unjust.
What were the major points that made your decision? The unfair taxation on the colonies such as the Intolerable Acts, the Stamp Acts, and the Townshed acts. Also they would sent troups over to inforce the laws, and they had to house them. Also, the colonists got unfair trials.
Did all group members agree with the decision? Explain Yes, we all thought that the colonists were treated unjustly and that going to war would probably be the best solution.
What are the alternatives to war? Explain The colonists could send representatives to England to negotiate with the parlament or they could have just kept it how it was.
