-New York Assembly Act
-Board of Customs Act
The Board of Customs Act put a board of customs commissions in Boston to force the Revenue Acts down the colonists' throats.
The Revenue Act was to make an external tax, which placed a tax on things manufactured outside of the colonies. The colonists already had a tax on things manufactured inside the colonies.(Internal tax) the Revenue Act was a failure.
The New York Assembly Act demanded the colonists have basic necessities for British soldiers stationed within the colonists' homes.
WHEN?

WHERE?
New York
WHY?
Charles Townshend was trying to fix England's economy by imposing taxes upon the colonists of America.
HOW?
Charles made the three acts which were made to help the economy of England. He placed the acts upon the colonists of America and the colonists were outraged. The Revenue Act failed while the others just made the colonists angry.
Charlie died soon after these Acts were imposed and his successor, Lord North, had to qualm the uproar over these acts.
